About the Mountain

WHY SKI HERE?

The ski resort might not have a direct view of Lake Louise, but that doesn’t mean it’s not scenic. You’ll still see jagged, snowcapped mountains in the distance as you carve down the mountain, high above the tree line. After the ski day is done, you can head back to the lake and warm up at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise with excellent fondue and wine.

“There is no such thing as too much snow.”

- Doug Coombs

En route from Banff to Lake Louise, take the Bow Valley Parkway – one of the most scenic routes in Canada – for incredible views of the surrounding Rockies. Do yourself a favor and download the GyPSy Guide app before you go for a free audio tour of the route.
