About the Mountain

WHY SKI HERE?

Known as North America’s ‘deep snow capital’ and a mecca for heli-skiers, Revelstoke has earned a place in the hearts of almost everyone who’s been lucky enough to visit. On top of world-class heli-skiing, Revelstoke has cat skiing, snowmobiles, and insanely long runs off the gondola to keep you entertained.

“If you go around being afraid, you're never going to enjoy life.”

- Linsdsey Vonn

Getting to Revelstoke is a journey in its own right. You can fly into Kelowa Airport and drive there, or you can fly into Calgary and pass by Banff, Lake Louise, and Kicking Horse en route. Even if you don’t have time to ski all these amazing mountains, it still may be worth taking the long way. Banff and Lake Louise are worth seeing at least once in your life. But keep in mind, Revelstoke has earned the nickname ‘Revel-stuck’ because the roads there often close in snow dumps.
