About the Mountain

WHY SKI HERE?

Pristine Andean peaks surround Valley Nevado, a top-rated South American ski resort with jaw-dropping views and sunsets. Valle Nevado interconnects with neighboring resorts, La Parva and El Colorado, to form Chile’s Tres Valles, a massive, high altitude ski area set entirely above the tree line.

“Wilderness is not a luxury but necessity of the human spirit.”

- Edward Abbey

With its highest lift passing 12,000 feet, Valle Nevado is known for having divinely dry powder that sticks around for days. Since there are few skiers compared to the expansive terrain, you don’t have to worry about it being skied out immediately either. But on the off chance there isn’t enough powder on the slopes for you, you can always try heli-skiing. Runs can start as high as 13,000 feet and have an average vertical drop of 4,500 feet.
