WHY SKI HERE?

Just up the road from Vail, Beaver Creek is known for its wide groomers and mellow terrain. Every part of the experience – from free cookies to top-notch ski instructors – is designed to create a luxury, family and beginner-friendly experience. There’s still room for advanced skiers to play. But unless you have deep pockets or an Epic Pass, there are probably better places in the region for bumps and steeps.

If you’ve ever tracked your vertical feet in a day of skiing, you’ll know the Beaver Creek Talons Challenge is insane. Each year, competitors take on 14 black and double black diamond runs for a total of 26,000 vertical feet in a single session!
