About the Race

WHY RUN IT?

The Adidas x Alpsindustria Elbrus Race is a challenging ultra run around the base of Mount Elbrus, coincidentally covering the same elevation as the mountain itself, 18,500 feet. But instead of going straight up, you’ll tackle it over a few major climbs, the worst being a long, slow ascent from 5,000 feet to 11,800 feet over 26 km.

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”

- Walt Disney

For a different sort of challenge on Mount Elbrus, you can race to the summit itself in the Red Fox Elbrus Race. Whether you opt for the 14 km Skymarathon or the 43 km Ski Monsters Expedition Race, your goal will be reaching the 18,500-foot summit, earning you the bragging rights of having raced up the highest mountain in Europe.
