About the Mountain

WHY SKI HERE?

Deer Valley is known for being a luxury experience, capping the lift passes issued each day, and offering complimentary s’mores in the afternoon. But perhaps the most ‘extra’ experience of all is being guided around the mountain on a 2-hour tour of Deer Valley’s 5 peaks and history, all for free.

“People weren’t meant to fly, that’s why we make kickers.”

- Warren Miller

Believe it or not, the best time to visit the ski resorts around Salt Lake City is during Sundance. With half the city in movies and the other half skipping town to avoid the chaos, you’ll have the mountains mostly to yourself.
